In a critical effort to counter the erosion of civil society across Europe, the DATA4CHANGE Tallinn workshop convened Europe’s creative and civic minds for an intensive 2.5-day sprint.
This event, aimed at tackling the challenges to democracy and European integration, brought together designers, technologists, and civil leaders in Tallinn to ideate and prototype a unifying hub for civil society. Supported by non-profits Das Progressive Zentrum, Alliance4Europe, and Citizens for Europe, the workshop focused on creating a central platform to facilitate cross-border cooperation among European civil society organizations (CSOs).
Through collaborative design and development, participants produced innovative prototypes designed to foster community, provide support, and enhance the effectiveness of civil society’s efforts across the continent. The outcome was a set of actionable prototypes, signaling a step forward in connecting and strengthening European civil society through technology and collaboration.
